With over 40 years in the real estate industry, you'd be hard pressed to find a situation that I haven't come across, and with all of those years being served locally, I can attest that I know this area thoroughly. I served on the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver in a variety of positions for over 20 years, and am past president of Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows. The greatest compliment I've received from my peers is that they view me as someone who has set a standard of sorts in ethics. Through my years in real estate, I have always stayed true to the golden rule "do unto others as you would have them do unto you".
Apart from my work in real estate, I enjoy spending time with my growing family, both here in town and up at our cabin on Little Shuswap Lake. When it comes to knowing our local history, I am definitely known for the fact that I have a story for every corner of this city. A long-time "Haney" resident, I have enjoyed seeing our area grow to what it is today. I also have a great interest in First Nations art and history and am an avid curler.
Joining my father in real estate, I recognize how fortunate I am to have his mentorship readily available. I feel very strongly that adding my energy, creativity and knowledge of technology to his years of experience and service is an amazing combination. Prior to getting my real estate license, I spent 8 years as a teacher. As a former teacher, it is important to me that you walk away feeling educated about the process of buying and selling real estate. I also recognize the magnitude of such a decision. I promise to be "at your service" every step of the way.
After a day of working with clients, I look forward to heading home to be with my family. My son and daughter are my world and my husband is my best friend. My home is definitely my happy place. Being born and raised in Maple Ridge, I am excited to be able to raise my own family here. For clients coming in from out of town, I do enjoy playing the "expert" in regards to knowing neighbourhoods, schools, and local history.
